October 26 Round-up

Lovely to see so many at October’s Cafe, and to be back on familiar territory at the re-named Walton Hub.
Whilst the Hub space is smaller than that previously available, in future we are planning to locate four additional workstations in the conservatory area, for those who would prefer not to ‘double up’ on tables in the main hall.
Good to see the ‘Knitters and Crafters’ finding a snug, new home… and seemingly doubled in numbers yesterday… offering a warm welcome to those coming into the building.
There were 25 of volunteers and 37 visitors.
We looked at 31 items, of which:
- 12 were fixed
- 5 were not fixed
- 1 was half fixed
- 4 are ‘ongoing’ and have been taken home
- whilst we gave advice on 9 (most of which will be seeking the required parts and booking in for the next Cafe)
Two items were returned to customers from previous Cafe’s
Our next Cafe will be on Saturday 14th November.
