April Repair Cafe Round-up

A huge ‘thank you’ to all 24 of you who volunteered at the Repair Cafe Saturday, including the set-up and clear-up pixies that most of our visitors never see!  We very much missed those of you who couldn’t make it, and hope to see you all again soon.

As always, it was a busy day with 43 visitors to the Cafe. Steve has provided us with another map of where people came from this month. As we get more idea of where people are coming from, we can think about how we connect with communities who are less likely to visit us.

36 repairs were booked in at the front desk (so these numbers don't include the things people happened to have at the bottom of their bag, in a pocket etc. which you generously had a look at too!) 

- 21 were fixed

-  3 couldn’t be fixed

-  6 were either half fixed, or where advice was given*

- 6 taken home/ on-going

Thank you to cake, biscuit  and savoury makers, we were looking a bit short without Sue's delicious contributions this month but ended up well provided for. We are always very grateful for donations of baked goods.
